Integrated Heating System
Heating at a uniform temperature for the best performance.
Traditional elevated temperature preparative chromatography approaches often focus on column heating only. While this can reduce the system backpressure, it introduces significant band broadening due to a mismatch of temperature between the column wall and the cold incoming mobile phase.
The Prodigy heats both the mobile phase and column to a uniform temperature, enabling high efficiency chromatography while allowing routine access to greener, higher-viscosity solvents such as ethanol.

Step 1. Enter the Parameters
Open the Focused Gradient Calculator and enter the parameters from your analytical run.

Step 2. Convert the Analytical run into a Preparative Run
The Focused Gradient Calculator automatically converts your analytical run into a preparative run using an optimized focused gradient.

Step 3. Start the Run
Select a method and enter the optimized parameters, then touch the “Start” button to begin.

Column Options

If you need columns, we can include industry leading CSH (charged surface hybrid) columns from Waters with your Prodigy.1
Based on BEH particle technology, CSH particles incorporate a low-level surface charge for maximum column performance even in low-ionic-strength mobile phases (e.g. 0.1% formic acid), while maintaining the temperature and chemical stability inherent in the BEH particle technology.
